PubNub Achieves SOC 2 Type 1 Compliance

Certification adds to PubNub’s comprehensive security practices

August 22, 2017 - PubNub, the company behind the world’s leading real-time Data Stream Network (DSN), today announced that it has successfully completed the Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type 1 audit conducted by Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP. This, in addition to a long list of comprehensive security practices, provides customers with confidence in how PubNub manages their real-time data across the globe. As companies increasingly use outside vendors to perform activities that are core to their business operations and strategy, there is a need for more trust and transparency into cloud software providers’ operations, processes and results. PubNub received its SOC 2, Type 1 certification from the AICPA for meeting the security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy standards established by its Service Organization Controls (SOC).
